How many of you outdoor cook with a Traeger? If not what is your BBQ rig of choice?

picked up a chuck steak to grind up some burgers, wanted to try a new higher protein bun alternative so I made a batch of red lentil buns. I've made wraps before out of them but never a hamburger bun. It was ok, nothing to write home about, but a fun project for a beautiful sunny warm fall day.

First I made a batch of the buns, kind of look like reddish pancakes, it's just lentils and water, salt & pepper, fried in butter. Grinded the chuck with my last Vidalia onion of the year, sprinkled on some Dizzy Pig Cowlick & did a reverse sear with pecan.

some baby backs on a turbo smoke @350, pecan chunks, once they're sufficiently bendy I'll wrap in foil & let go another little bit then pull & cool, into the fridge overnight to develop the flavors then re-heat for tomorrow evening's festivities, both kids will be in the house for our annual beer tasting festival :D, gonna bake some pizzas too

Not about a grill but, about 25 years ago I bought this three piece entertainment center that was popular with the big CRT TVs. It is solid cherry throughout. Several years ago I tried selling it for $300 and had zero interest. I decided to cut the top 2/3 of the center part off to make a low TV stand that still looks great. The remainder of the top was turned into cutting boards, these are just a few.

Made some ABTs to bring to my neighbor's for the Superbowl bitch-slapping laid upon the Swifty patrol, the jalapenos were freakishly long so most of them got two little smokies. Some Dizzy Pig Pineapple Head on the cream cheese adds a nice sweetness. Also tossed on some chicken thighs for a batch of chicken fried rice for the week. Used my standard setup, Kingsford briquettes with pecan wood on the kettle, indirect at full tilt, probably 400 degrees-ish, about 40 minutes
