And here is the bracket that goes with it. I actually got the original 3D model from here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1762537, but had to resize it to make it work for my 03.
Printed some door latch/lock bar clips. The ones I found in the auto parts store just keep falling off, so I found a model on Printables and had to modify it for the TJ, but it ended up working great.

Nope. It’s not perfect, and I don’t feel like making it so. Too much other stuff going on.
Perfection is the demise of progress. Post it to Printables and include the step files, then maybe someone else will have time to perfect it for you.

I have the Bestop Trektop, and with the sides out, the door frames rattle where the bottom pin goes into the body.
I printed some TPU gaskets to tighten up the fit and keep the metal pin from hitting the sides of the hole.
One less rattle now.

I left the mucket seals in when I put the trektop back on this time (instructions say to remove them) and the frames are rattle free
I am not sure I had those gaskets when I got the Jeep. Probably missing as were a lot of small parts.
In my never ending quest to find storage space in the TJ, I give you my newest space saving invention...... the spare fuse bin!

The TJ I was trying to get rid of was missing the little pocket that goes in the center console, and I didn’t feel like paying the $40-50 they go for on eBay. I needed a place for the compressor and locker switches as well. Two birds, one stone.
I'm interested in buying one of these from you if you're down to share. ha
