Help Me Choose Please!

So the drive home was great!

First small issue…a whistling sound at certain RPMs or throttle position. I’m guessing vacuum leak?

Also, it has the K&N air filter set up which I don’t care for. What’s the best way to get it back to stock? I’m assuming I’ll have to purchase a factory air filter box?

Thanks for all the help in this adventure so far. Y’all have been great!

Mine had a k&n filter setup as well and it whined/whistled at certain rpm. Went away as soon as I replaced with a stock air intake.

Here you go! Great day! Happy Indepenedence day everyone!

Morning. Some notes and questions from our first few days and first ride.

1. Best I can tell from measuring the springs (from the chart here on the forums...this place is so helpful!) I have a 2" suspension lift. No body lift. There is a puck on top of the front spring. Maybe an inch thick at most (might be factory???...I know I should have took a picture lol. I'll try to get some this evening). I like the height and level and it has brand stinkin new 31s so I plan to keep it as is at least until these tires are showing some serious wear. With this setup, should the transfer case be dropped any? I have a little bit of vibration when starting off. Nothing major.

2. Feeling a little bump in the steering/front end when hitting bumps on the trail. No slack in steering or wobble or anything, just a bump feeling.

3. Temp hovered around 210. Maybe just a smidge above when idling/crawling and AC running (dog was hot....). I know these are designed for this, but do y'all do anything to make them run a little cooler (t-stat, upgrade fan or radiator, etc).

4. Speaking of AC, wife was getting a little water on her feet. Looked like the fan box was just sweating and dripping from the AC working so dang good and it being a hot/humid northeast Georgia mountain day. Is this normal?

Thanks and hope y'all are having a good week so far!

BB lift spacer and stock rubber spring isolator pic for reference. We need pics of underneath (shocks, springs, sway bar links, etc) to diagnose clunk issue. If you have 2" lift springs with stock length shocks or sway bar end links, that would do it. Temp at 210 or slightly higher is normal.

1. With a 2" suspension lift and no body lift a transfer case drop wouldn't normally be needed.
2.You feel a bump when you hit a bump? Shouldn't you? 😁
3. 210 temp especially when crawling with AC running is right where it should be. The stock cooling system with Mopar parts is the best going, don't mess with it
4. There is an AC condensate drain, a round tube , poking through the firewall in the engine compartment, down at the bottom to the right of the battery and left of the engine block. Could be plugged.

I'm betting mine is just the stock isolator. I'll get some pics and update. Thanks!
