Given that my Jeep is held together by booger welds, cross-threaded fasteners, and zip ties, I want them to be quality zip ties. What I have been finding is junk. What are you using?

Hard to beat T&B single tooth. We use the 14" because they are easier to fish around stuff, you rarely grab one that is too short, and it is easier to stock 2 sizes. We use tons of those and tons of the next size down which I think is the 18 lbs rating, also in 14".

Not to hijack the thread, but on a somewhat related topic, would you guys have a good source for the plastic clips that attach the main harness to the firewall? Like many, I need to replace my disintegrating factory split wire loom tubing and I have a feeling some of those clips might not survive the surgery.

Not really but they are next on my list. I've started searching and so far, this is very close but I don't understand the multiple stud diameters. We need the M5mm.

I ordered the box of 100 to see if they work.

Can attest to the T&Bs. I've seen them used as supports for double runs of weather tight flexible conduit containing conductors sizes for 600+A service. We were using some longer ones (and probably a different size) and wrapped them twice and never heard of one breaking on the cross country truck ride.

Speaking of zip ties, I needed 4 of the ones that attach to the studs on the firewall.
I had to order a bag of 50. If you need a couple hit me up.

These are the ones I got.

Any feedback on these @mrblaine. I'm building up my list to redo my harness.

I ordered a bag of 50 off eBay because I needed 4 and my OCD kicked in. They worked just fine. If you need a few I can mail you some. That goes for @mrblaine too.

Ty-rap is also another great product
has a metal tip to lock into the cable tie
18lbs looks like the lowest rating.

might be a part of the T&B if it stands for thomas and betts

I bought a 1000 piece bag each of the T&B 50 lb and 120 lb ties on Ebay for a decent price.
