No, you didn't.
That's a 480C
. . . regarding the addition of the tank, how much did that help in reducing the original fill times?
Zero. When you add a tank you are essentially filling the equivalent of five tires to air up four.
A tank is unnecessary unless you have a need for stored compressed air, such as for air lockers, air horns, etc.
I have an ‘05 TJ, and looking at getting an air compressor.
I have the 450P.
IMO, the 400P would have been a better choice.
More CFM vs. less duty cycle.
However, the 33% duty cycle means it can run for 20 minutes (rest for 40) at 100psi.
More than enough for 4 tires.
^^ This.
The Viair 400 series is rated at 1.19 CFM at 100 psi with a 33% duty cycle at that pressure. The 100% duty cycle 450 series is rated at only 0.94 CFM at 100 psi. (CFM ratings at 0 psi are greater but meaningless.)
33% at 100 psi is a relatively meaningless duty cycle rating because we are not inflating our tires to 100 psi, . For all practical purposes, the duty cycle for a Viair 400 series compressor used to inflate tires to typical TJ street pressures is 100%.

I wish my emissions crap was in not on the driver fender. It would make it a lot easier to mount auxillary items there.

what emissions stuff do you have there? Both my TJ and LJ are originally CA vehicles and neither have extra emissions stuff there. The TJ does have the ABS module though.
Sometime around 2002, the emissions stuff moved from the front left fender into the rear right corner.

Yea the charcoal canister and purge valve. On the '02+ it frees up a lot of space with it moved to the rear.what emissions stuff do you have there? Both my TJ and LJ are originally CA vehicles and neither have extra emissions stuff there. The TJ does have the ABS module though.
