What have you 3D printed for your TJ?

All the above is printed on a Bambu X1C using Bambu black ABS-GF. Each of the panel plates cost about $0.05 and all the ethernet plugs were a total of $0.08 - so only a few bucks worth of materials.
Nicely done. This panel, fit for small Toyota switches from CH4x4, is on my future mod list.

A while back I was rushing and clipped the wrong wire (18g White w/ Lt Green) trying to get the reverse-trigger for the radio rear camera. Luckily, I caught my mistake before I utilized the clipped wires.

So I fixed my error by adding some more wire (blue) to give myself room for a good crimp connection.

And then I clipped the correct 20g White w/ Lt Green wire and tied it into the orange reverse trigger.

Yup - same color wire in adjacent holes of the ~30 wire connector under the dash differing by 18 v 20 gauge...

Added heat shrink on a few of the wires I won't get to finish on my quick route to driving again... These are all switch triggered - but I wanted the heat shrink as a backup safety.

One thing off the list!!

Crossing stuff off a list like this feels so good

I've decided to prime my oil pump since the engine has been sitting for about a year - and I'm a bit hesitant to just run it since I've had a lifter eat a cam on the Jeep before...

I initially turned the crank and aligned the camshaft ring to the housing with a allen wrench. But - since I have a 3D printer, why not 3D print a solution...

So I create this option that would drop down from the top:

But I didn't love it because the hole in the housing is larger than the hole in the ring - so there's slope (degrees of movement) when coming from the top with any 'holder'.

So I remembered I had a Crown OPDA new in-box in the basement as a 'just in case' part. So I pulled the alignment tool from that and drew up a copy in Fusion 360.

Printed it in PLA and the 'arms broke off almost immediately.

So I re-printed in ABS-GF:

Installed:

I've removed and re-installed it twice and it's holding it's shape ok. I Still want to see if I can add a little more thickness to the arms while still allowing them to bend to get into the OPDA ring.

So a V3 on the way. I also want to try to print PETG-HF as the GF adds a good bit of texture that I don't love on this copy.

Once I get a version I'm happier with - I'll post over on the 3D prints file share thread.
