What did you do to your TJ today?

To all you guys who are bombarded with ducks, no matter where you go, please supply some pointers on what I'll have to do next to get a stinking duck on my dash.

All suggestions, no matter how unpleasant they may seem, will be considered and the expense will be supplied within reason.
Start with this:

If that doesn't yield results you can up your game and copy my build:

Woke up to a beautiful sunrise, so took a picture of the Jeep. Been in Hot Springs, AR for three weeks at an RV park, visiting an old friend. One week to go, not sure where I’m going at that point. Maybe Tucson for some free boondocking. View attachment 651207View attachment 651208

Check out Gardner canyon. It’s south east of Tucson but has a lot of great camping covering the south side of Arizona and is not over populated.

What are the symptoms? Stop scratching your head and post the code. What plugs?

No symptoms. It has always run very smoothly. After the new coil pack is runs even better. I could tell the extra oompfh going up the hills on my way to work. Code popped up. We will see if it comes back. It gets driven about 50 miles a day 5 days a week so if is a legit code it will not be long until it pops up again.

I made a new spare tire carrier. The one that came on the Jeep was really rusty and had an extender bolted it to accommodate the 35" x 12" tire. I felt the extender pushed the spare tire out too far and allowed the tire to wiggle over bumps

The spare tire mount I made is designed to bring the tire about 3" closer to the tailgate and also raise it about an inch. I also added a 5 degree forward tilt for aesthetics.

FWIW, I'm shopping for a replacement tailgate.

The mount is made from 1/8" steel, cut using a CNC plasma table. I powder coated it in gloss black.

Finally getting back in the game more after focusing hard on my business for 2 years (and fishing)

Chasing a connection issue in this visionX adapter-anyone know what this does? My guess it is a resistor for the turn signal function- lights work without it.

Edit

I found the answer

- it gives you hi and lo together for max output- likely
not road legal but effective.

Funny how I hate people who run obnoxious lights but grin when mine make roosters crow and photocells shut off street lights.
