What did you do to your TJ today?

Flat tire has me here checking brakes, have not seen shoes with a groove before 🤷🏽‍♂️. Seems odd to limit surface friction to this level, but note the drum. A small elevation change between the parallel friction surfaces makes drum removal more entertaining…🤦‍♂️

Got all of the wiring repaired and the freshly re-sealed transmisson in place today. This dumb 3" body lift caused hell with the wiring, and man is the auto shift cable tight. First thing once this thing is running again is to drop it down to a 1". Anyway, here's a crappy pic of the trans hanging in place...

And how much stupid stuff have you spent more on? You could probably build your own for less, but my time is worth something.

I’m the proverbial, “Penny Wise, Pound Foolish” guy. I’ve got four cars in the garage that barely get used. But I’ll be damxxed if I’ll spend forty four bux on a switch, a fuse holder, and some wire! 😂😎

We all have our “priorities”, I’ll keep pulling the fuse 😂. @WestCoastDan idea is looking like a great option.

Does this count?
Built it a shelter. I didn't like it baking in the NV sun. I had some sheet metal laying around. Had a local livestock panel guy fabricate these for me. Some 16' 2x6s from Lowes and here it is. About the cheapest way I could get one done that was big enough for my little JD and my TJ.
