An awesome green LJR?
Went by and started my Jeep for the first time in two weeks. Damn work interferes with enjoying life.
Wait you don’t daily drive yours? And here I thought you were a purists. So what is daily driver?

To be honest, I've never actually seen Jeep Green in the flesh, only in photos. But if I was repainting Tess and planned to change colors, it'd be very high on the list of replacement paint colors.
Being able to walk away is step one. Good for you. You can't let emotions govern your decision.
Try to stick with the 4.0. I have 33's, a 4.0 and a 5 speed. From the factory it had 3.73's. I found it to be unbearable unless it was going downhill with a tailwind. Swapped to 4.56s and live is good.

I'm back! After almost eight months my LJR is out of storage in beautiful Marietta. Drove it home to Canton after installing a new battery. Happy to report the CEL came on about halfway home, so something else to work on. We are very happy with our new house.
Went out driving around the local area today. Must have seen 50 Jeeps! Didn't get many waves, but most the Jeeps were later than TJ and driven by YLs on their way to grocery, soccer, or tennis.

It’s very cool color in person…”pickle” is what my painter says that gives it the gold-ish metallic look… it took some time to get it to match up with the body.. but it’s dam near close to factory…
I just realized you body matched your armor. I'd say your trigger man did alright (more than, really).
I'm really surprise the color didn't appear on more vehicles, it's classy yet fits the Jeep. Then again, people tend to buy what they can see and touch. Without a legit paint sample or a vehicle sporting the color, many tend to shy away from special order colors (I'm assuming this probably was).

It’s not a color that shows up in any paint computer formula?.. he works at ford… we tried for 2 days to find.. read my vin, found posts on the forum… and the “letters” dictating my color would only produce. 70% match… anyway.. he finally dialed it in… so for the future.. it’s called Ben’s jeep 6 VVT66….
To your point though.. it’s very similar to the new bronco color he told me…
Funny, for some reason the first color my brain goes to when I think Jeep CJ/YJ/TJ is red.
As a kid, the old salt captain of the Stone Harbor Beach Patrol (the lifeguards of the shore I flocked to yearly) used to transfer guards and visit individual stations in an all red CJ with S.H.B.P. painted in large white block letters on down both sides of the hood. That guy with his red Jeep was cooler than my dad at that age.

Seriously? Oh, geez... That's a bit surprising, and I would imagine quite irritating for someone with a vehicle that color. I've only seen it listed in one Chrysler paint chip book for one model year to date. But in the end, I suppose the paint code is worth fuckall if you can't actually look up the mix.
