Upper Door storage

Living in Florida weather changes quick, afternoon quick showers so I like to bring my upper doors with me, the problem is you couldn't haul anything with them in the back and I don't want them broken or scuffed so I built sliding drawers with a solid top with thick rubber !!

That is very nice, and welcome to the site! In the summertime, I also remove all windows and the door uppers, but keep the top up. I have a back seat and Tuffy trunk, otherwise I would copy your idea.

I have a RainGear cover, and that keeps the interior dry, as long as I have time to wait out a passing storm. But if I know that I won’t have time to wait on the weather, I just leave the uppers installed.
