Hanging hard upper doors

Hi! Pretty new here. I rarely use the hard uppers and had them resting on the foam on the bicycle hangers (shown) so they were fully supported on the bottom. Had to reorganize the garage and now need to hang these. The ProSlat brackets are strong enough to hold them, but has anyone had experience with this damaging their doors? It seems okay but I'm not fully comfortable with it. Also, what's the best storage bag for windows if you want to hang them and not roll them?

Anything that you can do to spread the weight of the door across a larger area would be better than all of the weight being supported only by the width of single hooks.
Maybe install another hook somewhere near here:

I would even consider something like the pool noodle approach, but it would need to be a bit firmer.
Something like a piece of 3" PVC/ABS pipe cut down the length to give you 2 U/C-shaped lengths that can support the entire span without digging into the window seals like the hooks will do over time.
