So evap basically is a tank vent that runs through a charcoal cannister before allowing "harmful fumes" to vent to atmosphere.
Basically so your Jeep doesn't stink like gas
So you can cap off those lines...but...where does the air go... some of it goes up the fill neck when fueling... solenoid only runs when the engine is on and in closed loop. (Or open, I get those confused...warmed up and reading sensors )
I've modified a lot on my 97 but I'm leaving my evap alone. Doesn't take that much room. And I don't like gas fumes.
You'd also need HP Tuners, take the emissions class to get your unlock certificate, to delete from the PCM.

P S. If you did something else with those lines consider using them as a return system for fuel. Lot of modifications needed but your fuel would be so much cooler.
I am deleting the evap system on my LS 5.3 swap, so not sure what to do with tthese lines.
