Hello, everyone! I'm in need of some help. My evap canister has this outlet that, according to the diagram on the hood should go to the fuel tank... I think (and may be mistaken) that this is not complicated enough for me to rush into the mechanic's and with some assistance i could do it in my garage. Does anyone know where is the line this should be plugged into? Am I just going to find it dangling somewhere? or could someone provide pictures of their own TJ'S connection of this outlet? Thanks!!

Find the fuel line where it plugs into the fuel rail. Follow it down...both the vent line and the fuel line parallel each other all the way back to the tank, strapped to the frame.

found it!! Initially asked because i though that if I did it without counsel it'd end up being one of those 3 minute jobs that become 3 hour ones.... but duh, followed the line and it was, yes, just dangling there! Just out of curiosity, what happens when that line is disconnected?
thanks, Mac!

Theoretically when the solenoid is firing it's just sucking in atmosphere and not gas fumes.

No sensor to tell it otherwise.

I would imagine it might accelerate the demise of the charcoal in the canister...but I don't know.
