Time for a v8 swap

The finally test fit went well, tomorrow il be welding in the new bracket and adding a little more transmission pan clearance.

Final test fit was successful, next step the atlas transfer case install and fitment.

Well my day started off good , took the transfer case out of the box and placed it down on the foam packing it came in to give it a nice looking over and I found some damage. Im going to call advanced adapters tomorrow and see what they can do maybe I can just get a new clocking plate.

Trust me these are probably my best welds after a few years of practice but thank you. Only piece of advice I can give it start trying to stick metal together until you get it right.

I spoke with advance adapters this morning and sent over pictures. The gentleman assured me theres no way the case could be damaged but he will look them over and quote me for a new clocking plate. Luckily I kept the box apparently they have customers sending cases back to be regeared / reconfigured all the time so thats nice to know i can just ship it back and have it regeared. Looks like the transfer case shifter assembly and exhaust system are next up on the list.
