02 TL LS V8 swap question

Hello all , I have a v8 swap question on trying to get answered and haven't been successful yet. I have a lm7 5.3 (holley terminator max kit pending), 6L80e transmission and no transfer case yet ( I do have my stock np231 and the stock 6L80e transfer case. So my question is can I use the terminator kit to grab a vehicle speed sense off the transmission and just get a atlas case mounted straight to the back of a 6L80e or will i need the adapter plate with vss regardless? I haven't bought a new transfer case yet and the atlas asked if I need a vss provision on the output shaft so would this be the ultimate fix ?

I did not add a VSS to my atlas.

I bought the connect and cruise LS3 6l80e package with GM ECU to run it. It should all work this way because it wasn't sold to have a tcase on it at all. None of this has been installed yet.

I assume the Holley can also utilize the info from the trans.

My speedometer will output a gps speed on my display.

Thanks for the response. After talking with holley their tech support initial told me the terminator kit wouldn't work with a 4x4 6l80e. Do you have an adapter plate between your transmission and transfer case ?

When I bought my 6l80e Holley did not support it like they do now.

I just got off the phone with novak and they said they used the vss off the transmission. How did you make out with driveshaft length ? I'm thinking about throwing a ucf high clearance 3/16 pan and tucking everything while it's apart , il probably need a 1in body lift to the 6l80e

Haven't installed any of it yet.

Toximus has a thread where he's installed the 6l80E into his but I'm not sure where he's at with running it
