Make sure your 'victim portfolio' is up to date.
'Impact statement' . . . . did neighbor Bob's garbage get picked up before yours? You're a victim my friend.
Tears rolling down your cheek? Victim! . . . . hold your hand out and $$ will appear.
That'll teach neighbor Bob to smile at you as he walks away with his empty garbage can . . . and you wait at the curb.
Triggered!
Victim!
Someone will pay!
No one is going to be more of a victim than you!
Now get out there . . . get yours!
You know how I know you didn't watch the video?Lol so if they lowered the pay of the men to the exact pay of the women would they still be upset????
lol i did watch the video. You know how I know you didn't watch the video?
Hint: The women made more money on both a per year and per game scale.
this is about world cup soccer teams from the USA nothing elselol i did watch the video.
I stated they are paid fairly in mls.
They are not arguing alllllllll male players make money. they are using pay at the entire team level.
the women are being general and not specific.
cause if they got specific well.......then they wouldnt have an argument.
So you missed the part where the women were offered the exact deal the men have and turned it downAh ok now im invested.
There is no average pay to compare.
So you could say they are "paid" less and be true and false.
You could say they are "compensated" more and be true and false.
Its apples to oranges with pay for completely different circumstances. These players are basically hustling to earn spons and bonuses if your on the bench lazy and just filling a spot then of course you will get paid less. If your the #1 stud and filling stadiums and making huge profits of sponsor ships your probably going to make more than some men heck maybe one day be paid more than any man. Its very possible.
The video is focused on one thing. Their other jobs and incomes aren't relevant. Some of these women have Nike contracts, I bet some of the men don't. So all you can compare is the package offerings of the USA cup organization to these team members. The only point I can see that there is to argue is that they don't elaborate on the "second" job aspect of the men vs women. I'm not saying one or the other is right, simply that the men don't need the benefits, because they already have a "job" with a MLS club. The women are using the national team as their primary employer. So, Grand scheme, they probably are making less...But that is like saying Johnny makes more money than me and works two jobs. Duh...Of course Johnny makes more...he's working harder.
I don't know enough about soccer to know if the women would have that extra opportunity...but then again, the case wasn't about that.
nice video. It was interesting.
Right. And that is what the judge ruled on. I was just simply making an observation on something I thought might be an interesting addition to the story. The video is focused on one thing. True and I thought the same thing but that's not what these women have been fighting about.Right. And that is what the judge ruled on. I was just simply making an observation on something I thought might be an interesting addition to the story.
I played Collegiate Soccer.I know someone who’s rabid about women getting paid less. This video explains that’s not the reality of the situation. I know nothing about soccer but this video is worth the watch.
Some people will never get it.You know how I know you didn't watch the video?
