So I am still sort of new to jeep mods but I just had a 3.25 inch rough country lift put on my 2006 tj and I couldn't help but notice that they dropped the transfer case which in my opinion defeats the whole lift kit point. But anyways I am trying to figure out if I can just put the transfer case back into stock position or if something will snap if I do.
If that is not possible I am hearing I need a slip yoke eliminator and a new driveshaft to raise the transfer case back up does anyone have any recommendations on driveshafts or slip yoke eliminator kits.

JB Conversions shorty SYE is the shortest one out there I think

I put an Advanced Adapters SYE on my 231 transfer case when I installed a raised skid plate and I'm happy with it. I also used a Tom Wood's double cardan driveshaft. No issues and great customer service from Tom Wood's.

I don't think you can go wrong with Adam's Driveshaft either. I have no personal experience with them but have read that a lot of others have been happy with their product.

well my other thing is can I just do a SYE with the stock driveshaft or do I have to upgrade driveshafts.

It requires the following to fix:

1) SYE. Go for the JB conversions SS SYE
2) adjustable control arms in the rear. Go double adjustable.
3) Speedo Healer
4) rear DC driveshaft

I have already done the control arms I had them installed with the lift
What is a Speedo Healer I have never heard of it and when i look it up a motorcycle tuner comes up

if you get a Super Short SYE you lose the mechanical Speedo gear, so the Speedo healer resolves that problem.

If you decide to get a normal SYE then you maintain your Speedo gear. However, with bigger tires you’ll need to get the right mechanical Speedo gear so your speedometer and odometer are accurate.
