Attached is the STL file for the Polk Audio DB5252 DB+ Series Component Speaker System tweeter.

It is printed out of ASA and attached to the dash via 3M double-sided tape. The 3M tape seems to be holding well through hot and cold.

Use a grommet in the speaker wire hole. I don't remember the size, but it is in the kit that can be purchased from Harbor Freight. Also, you will likely need to cut down the center bolt that is used to fasten in the tweeter holder provided in the speaker kit.

@Urban 3D sells a lot of very similar products on his website and offers some custom options. If it's not something that he already offers, he may be willing to make this for you.

I have one of his Auxbeam switch panels that replaces the stock switches and cigarette lighter adapters, and I love it.

Thanks, he doesn't make a double din, but I didnt ask if he could make one, though he didnt offer it.

What do people with auto trans do with the overdrive switch, etc when going to this setup?

Not sure on the overdrive, I've got the six-speed X, and had the poverty panel with zero switches before swapping for the Auxbeam. If there's enough interest in a double-din, he may be keen to make a few, but I don't want to speak for him. He's very responsive on Facebook, not sure how often he checks messages here. A+ customer service with all of my questions, though!

I posted this in response to request in another thread, just occurred to me I should probably post it here.

When I replaced my factory vinyl shift boot with a leather one from Redline, I notice the top of the boot is basically fixed by a circlip pounded onto the shift lever. Now I'm all for simple solutions, but that's bordering on neanderthal...and I also notice the clip was wearing the boot through from the inside. I decided to whip up a quick 3D printed replacement.





It could be refined but works fine as is. Attaches with a zip tie to snug the ring against the shift lever. Think I printed it in ABS or ASA.

I have a Bestop Supertop with the Sunrider feature. It's always annoyed me that when I flip it open, the fabric falls behind the crossbar and intrudes into the cabin:

I fixed it by making a strap out of nylon webbing, and a few tiny bits from the 3d printer (STLs attached):
1. A reinforcement plate for the ends of the strap where the snaps go (print 2)
2. One of those strap things that cinch a strap tight

Other things needed:
1. 54" of 2" wide nylon webbing
2. Snaps and snap tool (Though Velcro would probably work too

Assembly:
1. Put double side tape on each side of reinforcement plate
2. Take a reinforcement plate, line it up with an end, wrap around plate 3 times, install snaps where the holes are in the reinforcement plate
3. Repeat on the other end
4. Feed around the rollbar
5. Install the cinch clip
6. Wrap around the front crossbar and snap together
7. Push the cinch clip towards the rollbar

Results:

Works pretty well, not bad for using stuff laying around. I got plenty of extra material to make a few of these if anyone would be interested.

(Technically, your folded fabric should go towards the rear of the vehicle. Strapping down the header bar is also in there.)

Well, shit. Now I need to go see if they mentioned any of this in the supertop instruction manual. My jeep came with a hardtop, so I have nothing OEM around the softtop, just what Bestop gave me. And they didn't give me a strap either in the kit.

I was lucky to have the manual in my glove box when I got my LJ. However, I still folded it just like you did on first go and that was WITH the manual. I didn't have the strap though.

It's more 'natural' to have the fold forward, but evidently that's not how it's designed.

I've driven it open, fabric to the rear, without the header strapped down and it doesn't seep into the cab.

Don't be so quick to immolate yourself and your design, I think you may find your Bestop doesn't work like the factory top did. If the OEM manual is to be believed, the factory top folds thrice onto itself, the Bestop Sunrider feature only folds once, towards the back.

For the other person that wants to add hidden strobes to there jeep (think like roadside, mail, etc) I designed and printed these: the heights one ht drivers and passenger may need some tweaking depending on hardtop alignment, but the rears work pretty solid, I did wind up adding some silicon around the edge of the housings to eliminate any light flashback. They are designed in fusion if anyone wants the Cad files to tweak them, LMK

Also working on a removable "plate" to cover the top of a winch and help keep snow and sun from getting into your synthetic line (yes winch bags are a thing, but I hate the look and the potential to trap moisture)
