My friend just bought a 3D printer and offered to print me anything I needed, so I got to thinking about what I could make. Does anyone have any good ideas for useful/cool things to make with a 3D printer? Either mods, small replacement parts, or even things not necessarily jeep related

So far some of my ideas are:
-Dash speakers pods, instead of paying $80 for them
-The bezel for my shift boot which has broken tabs
-A replacement radio bracket, mine is broken
-Spacers for my third brake light with my 33's

-Custom valve stem covers, I could get really creative
-Custom shift knobs
-Mounts for a-pillar tweeters if I ever do it
-A tray to hold small items in my center console

I've definitely been wanting to find some jeep related things to print on my printer as well.

Switch panels.

Since my airbags are all disconnected it'd be nice to turn that dash space into a storage something.

-Mac

The older style center bezels had 3 switch panels and an ashtray. The newer had 4 switches and a weird flat square spot. Some people cut out the ashtrays of the older style ones and added another 3 switch panel which is great, but they always looked a little off to me. Just a little misaligned and not perfect. If somebody made a 6 switch panel that looked like it came that way from the factory ready to bolt in, I'd buy it.

Also in for A pillar tweeter mounts.

Just stumbled on this old thread. Have a look here and let us know if you have anything to add.
