Socially acceptable wiring but you don't have any over current protection...no fuse or disconnect.

Nope. I can't speak too loudly either because mine's wired straight up too.

Well the damn air compressor fuse keeps blowing at the most inconvenient times (when I’m using it) so it’s probably great that the winch doesn’t mess with all that Oral Contraceptive Pill garbage.
