Rubicon compass / temp mirror not working

Do you not have the button? It's "I/O" smack dab in the center.
It's there. It's just one of those things I don't see anymore while driving. All I ever do to the rearview is look at it, occasionally adjust it and appreciate the auto-dim.
I think I've only use that button once to turn it on. Well, and 10 times today to change the region.

My mirror did the same thing, lights but no display, the plug on the back of the mirror was not plugged all the way in

Mine does this too.
I'm guessing not enough air flow to keep the radiator heat away from the sensor.

I know this is old post but where was the lose connection, I just got a LJR and going through this

I checked my connection at mirror and it’s good, where is other connections located to check before I go buy a new mirror
like fuse 26 in the PDC provides fused battery power, fuse 10 in the fuse box provides switched power, and fuse 7 in the fuse box provides backup lamp power (which kills the auto dim feature when in reverse at night
Mine was the caps inside the mirror on the pc board. There’s a thread on here somewhere that tells you how to repair it.
