Recently bought a 2004 wrangler Rubicon and when I test drove it the compass/temp on the rearview worked but now its out... is this a common issue and someone knows where the loose connection is .. have checked fuses behind glovebox

The mirror itself can go bad. You can sometimes have them rebuilt, or you can buy a new one on eBay. It’s a Gentex model GNTX-177 I believe it is.

It should say right on the back.

There is no fuse for the mirror.

Thanks for the info So it wires in with the ignition... turn signal high beam switch has loose connection so I guess I'm digging into the steering column tomorrow
Have you tried turning it on?
Yes several times while driving hoping it will blink or something to confirm bad connection.. will try to trace wires tomorrow and if its getting power

New here and first post, my mirror on my 05 Rubicon is 180 degrees out in direction, any ideas on a fix. I tried the calibration directions in the owners manual with no change.

Mine looks like this - every LED in the box is lit. I just leave it turned off, the map lights and the auto-dim function work fine and I'm just not motivated enough to track down the problem with the compass and temperature. I can figure out my direction of travel by looking at the sun and if the temperature is low enough to raise goosebumps on my arms I put on a jacket.
