Does anyone know where I can find a replacement throttle cable for my 06 with the 4.0? My throttle hangs on occasion and makes the idle high, I have to reach down and pull the pedal up towards me for it to let go. I'm sick of spraying it with white lithium grease only for it to start sticking in a few days again. I'm pretty sure it is the cable because I already replaced the bushings on the throttle body and replaced the throttle shaft and regreased it. The pedal and throttle body seem to move smoothly.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I can't find a reliable replacement anywhere.

Remove cable from Jeep. Clean all of the lithium grease from the cable. Poke a hole in a baggie large enough for the one end of the cable to fit. Tie a rubber band around it. Hang it up in garage and fill the bag with whatever motor oil you use the your Jeep. When you see oil dripping from the other end remove the bag. Let the cable hang until oil stops dripping. Reinstall cable.
