Pennsylvania Rausch / AAOA

What is FRO? I'm always looking for alternatives to RC/AOAA/The Cove.

Pottsville, theyre all within 15-20min of eachother. Famous reading outdoors requires a yearly membership, they got rid of day passes. Its 225$ but it has alot of trails. A few of my buddys cut the trails for jeeps/crawlers, theyre all on tons and 40s+

That's cool. Seeing as how my wheeling crew are all on ton's and 40s+ it's nice to have another option. Thanks for the info!

AOAA is larger, by several thousand acres, and has a much nicer parking lot and facility. My single biggest reason for not going there is the UTV, ATV, Motorcycles etc., that are allowed. While that's what keeps the prices down, I've been almost hit on more than one occasion, which turns me off to the park. Rausch is considerably more expensive, but has a diverse set of trails for its size. Rausch also is only open to vehicles. That said, a good time can be had wheeling at either place.

I have more fun at rausch on any given day over AOAA, not to say anything bad about AOAA. Bernie is such a cool guy to deal with, I’ve had or saw broken jeeps get stuck there for hours and he always accommodated them any way possible. Not to mention the fact ATV/UTV are only allowed on the other side or rausch.

I'm rubi on 32's with full skids, winch and armor. I'm up for blues and some moderate black trails. Gotta drive it home 😁

Same boat here. Having another car for my daily has made me a little more dangerous.

My vote is for AOAA if we want to figure it out sooner than later.

I'm pretty flexible on the days. Having never been, and the 5hr drive, I could come in wheel half a day Friday and all day Saturday. All day Saturday and half day Sunday. Would do aaoa one day and rausch the next if someone wanted (do cringe at the cost, but buying a membership in October lasts for the whole following year).

Throwing it out again that I could be to either trail system around 10:30 Friday morning if anyone wants to hit trails Friday and Saturday.

Should we designate a meeting spot for tomorrow?
I'm Aaron btw. 7176178161 if anyone wants to text/call that theyre running late and this is my Jeep.
