Hi everyone, looking forward to gathering some information in this forum. Over the weekend I picked up a 1997 Wrangler with a 2.5 and manual trans. Drove it home 80 miles to Fort Lauderdale with no issues, other than I think the oil pressure sensor is starting to fail. Scary in the moment. But it still runs strong (as strong as a 2.5 can) and made it back. Possible manifold leak. Very little rust on frame. Just some suspension components that need updated and replaced anyway. Would love if anyone else is down in South Florida, recommend some groups, a reliable mechanic to just give me a good starting point. I plan on doing as much of the work as I can, but it drives straight and is a great cruiser so far.
