Starting to sand the entire rig, hopefully in paint within a weekend or two!
Good job. I do mine a final primer coat before I introduce the top coat. This way the primer just freshly flushed before it meets the color coat. What's the top coat color you decided?
That is a lot of man-hours spent. When it is all said and done.... only then you have time for the wife (or girlfriend).
Looking very good! Tough lesson to learn, but a good one. Reckon he’s learned a thing or 1,000 about body work
I'm sure he has and about a month before he gets some finger prints back too hehe...He’s learning a lot about sanding![emoji12]

Nice work on the re-build though....better than new
Nooooo !! I feel for ya, nothing worse than doing all then prep and then that happening to your paint finish....so was it grease or oil or something?
That is not grease, it's air bubble. You sprayed the first pass too thick. Do not be in a hurry for the colored paint. Just give it a mist, a very even mist that you can still see the primer through it. then wait for 45 min. to an hour (max), then go for the next mist coat.
What da??? Painting just needs a dish soap and warm water to clean the surface. Whoever advised you to use a tar - wax remover needs a paddle in the butt.
