Just a heads up since some of us are now using the high quality Robert Shaw thermostats from Flowkooler, they do have a bleed hole. Someone remarked that there was nowhere to drill a bleed hole but if you look closely you will see there already is one.
The first picture shows a small raised section where my pencil is pointing, this mark is where the bleed hole is and goes into the engine pointing up. In the second pic I flipped the RS over and put my flashlight behind it and you can see the light coming through the bleed hole.
So don't go drilling holes in the RS and look carefully to be sure you point the bleed hole toward the sky.
