Poor Man's Stroker Recommendations

Hey guys, looking to do a poor mans stroker build on my 02 TJ 4.0. Gonna get the Newcomer Racing 4.2 3.895" crank, some stock ratio 1.6 ratio roller rockers, clearwater replacement stock head, replace my 24lb injectors with some new ones, Fel-Pro 530SD, will be getting the rotating assembly balanced at a machine shop, see if they think I need oversized pistons(it has 140k on the motor), and wondering if I can just use my stock rods? Also what bearings should I get for the rods? Also what else needs to be changed? If anything please provide links. Thanks!
You don't need that 1k dollar crank from newcomer.
Is it nice ? Yes !
Will you be taking your jeep to 8k rpm? Probably not.....Even I wouldn't do all that and I can be crazy with my driving😆
For around 1k you:
You could get away plenty with a good Ole 500 crank from scat, same stock rods but with the appropriate pistons that have the correct compression,Then a thinner cometic. 027" Headgasket then. That should be under the 1k dollar mark

If the budget is tight You could even use the stock cam&lifters if they're in good shape! Mines were! even at 200k miles (previous owner took great care of my Lj) I wouldn't since you're already there...why not get the extra Hp.I understand if you can't get a bigger cam (heck I'm thinking about just doing a cam from newcomer racing and only the roller cam setup in my Lj.Leave the rest of the engine alone.)
