A family member replaced all their appliances shortly after moving into a new place because they weren’t all the same brand. They were fairly new.
when we did the kitchen last year, wife insisted on a new dishwasher to match the rest of the other appliances. As the bill was approaching a 100K you just go numb to the little things...lol
Stainless steel or all black, we have a mixture, Stainless fridge and black stove and dishwasher.
I don't know which is worse.
We're all black, except the stove which is black and stainless. The stainless french door fridge went to the kids who needed a new one, and we replaced it with a black side-by-side. The stainless dishwasher got a new black skin that I put on it. The stupid stainless, space wasting stand alone range hood got torn out and replaced with a cabinet and a black microwave. I need to get off my duff, and eithe re-skin the stove, or replace it. It isn't quite as fugly as the rest were as its only partially stainless.
The wife one that argument, got the useless stainless hood and then the obscene expensive drawer microwave.

In regard to the color of appliances, I remember back in the early '80s that my aunt had complained about the kitchen appliances being white, while her kitchen had blue walls and was generally decorated in various shades of blue. My uncle was a "paint and body" man, so he removed said appliances and painted them a light shade of blue with dark blue fogged-in along the edges. The effect was stunning, and I can honestly say that I've never seen one like it since. I have no idea what, if anything, he had to do to help the paint withstand the heat of the oven, but there was no evidence of a problem some 15 years on when she sold the house.
That looks more like a "drawer" than a "draw"...

I guess i need to reread before I post. I am not a fan of it either, rather it be above the stove.
I’d like for ours not to be above the stove. But I’m probably not redoing our kitchen either.
I'm that guy , who doesn't care that our giant Panasonic MW sits on the counter .

This probably doesn't belong cos it's a good thing but my house has a designated microwave cabinet not above the oven 
What kind of countertops do you have? If they're stone, that stuff is priced by the INCH - just sayin'.
Our bar microwave is in a cabinet and I forget it's there.
The bar refrigerator is in a wall opening and slides into the furnace area. When people close the doors it rolls back slightly into that room. I need to wedge it with something, but my daughter's crap is piled in there. First world problem of needing to occasionally pull it out and straighten it.

If I were a betting man , I would go all in on who has more counter space. This is happy minimalist mountain living .
No way that's all you have!! That would be terrible
