Apologies for starting another no crank thread but I couldn’t find the same issue. When I turn the key I hear a single click (likely the relay) but no crank. If I jump #30 and #87 on the starter relay it will start so starter seems to be working. #85 gets power when I turn the key so I don’t think it is the ignition switch. Any thoughts? Maybe the ground for the starter relay?

That you hear the click makes me think the starter relay is clicking indicating the safety switch is working. Try swapping the starter relay with another one of the same size relays, they're the same.

After switching relays, still no start. I recently changed the clutch, not sure if that could be related. As far as I understand even if I broke the crank shaft position sensor, the jeep would still crank just not start?

Yep.

What year Jeep?

To make things weirder if I run a wire in the starter relay from #87 to #85 it will start. Other than a dead relay which is not the case (tested with different jeep) any ideas?

You're missing control. MAKE SURE YOUR VEHICLE IS IN NEUTRAL! Bypass the clutch switch. See if it starts.

G105 is the ground for the control side of the starter relay and is located in the right rear of the engine block. Any chance you removed that or damaged it during clutch replacement? I'd focus on G105. I highly doubt your clutch switch decided to off itself during a clutch install.

UPDATE: turns out a ground wire was cut when I reinstalled the transmission. It is a wire that comes out of the passenger side of the transmission from a flat circular piece. Not entirely sure what these wires are for but I’m assuming something related to the clutch safety switch? Thanks for everyone’s help!
