MASS PEPPER SPRAYING AT DAVE'S HOT CHICKEN Tulsa — As if the Reaper wasn't hot enough

On November 24th, 2025, around 10:45 p.m., Officers responded to Dave's Hot Chicken near 71st and Olympia after several people flagged down Officers to report an assault.

Restaurant patrons and employees said a man, later identified as 18-year-old Kennaijh Washington, entered the store with a woman and became upset over his order.

Witnesses said Washington tried several times to go behind the counter, began yelling at employees, and at one point, started "twerking". The situation escalated as employees tried to get Washington to leave, and witnesses said Washington pulled out bear mace and sprayed several employees and patrons.
Officers found Washington in a nearby parking lot, and he attempted to run away from them. Officers had to subdue Washington with a taser, and he was subsequently taken into custody.

Kennaijh Washington was arrested for:
- Assault and Battery AFCF (4 counts, After Former Conviction of a Felony)
- Resisting Arrest
- Obstructing Justice
This is an arrest, not a conviction.

Wish they'd get shit RIGHT before reporting... I get in todays climate you have to be FAST/QUICK but damn...

The governor is the one who came out and said they passed. Now he's questioning it. You'd think he'd have confirmed before saying anything to begin with.

I'd heard it through a podcast I was watching... And then had checked and the news I saw was saying they'd passed...

But YES you'd think the governor would be the ONE who would know.
