I’d like to hear what happened. 9 people in a sxs sounds like an accident in itself.

Had a death up here a couple weeks ago.

Here most SXS drivers are total asshats . The light weight and suspension travel equal driving at high speeds that most owners can't handle.
Or can kinda handle until they meet another vehicle , large rock , or tree.

A friend with more $ than brains has a RZR 1000 with supercharger or turbo ( I forget). He let me drive it. It hit 60 MPH in the blink of an eye. Way too fast for trails with trees.

Playboy model fumes as American Airlines flight attendant forces her to 'button up' in order to board plane
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15056483/Sara-Blake-Cheek-American-Airlines-outfit.html

A former Playboy model has claimed she was singled out by an American Airlines flight attendant who found her outfit too inappropriate to travel.

Sara Blake Cheek, 34, a former Playboy Playmate and OnlyFans model, shared in a series of X posts how a flight attendant asked her to button her shirt before she could board the plane to leave Atlanta on Sunday night.

'I was unaware that American airlines had a dress code that said you can't wear athletic attire if you have big boobs,' she posted, sharing a photo of the apparently offensive attire - a black bandeau underneath an open yellow flannel.

Cheek, a sports talk show host who runs The VIP Ballers and has over half a million social media followers, accompanied the look with jeggings, high socks and sneakers.

In another post 10 minutes later, Cheek wrote that she was 'finally leaving Atlanta after a canceled flight this morning, rescheduling twice and then being delayed.

'Now the flight attendant tells me to button my shirt, but not the other women wearing the same outfit but are different in color than I am,' she continued, adding sarcastically that she is 'glad I'm a platinum member.'

The airline has since apologized for the incident, and said it would investigate the flight attendant's actions.

'We have a deep culture of respect for both our customers and our team members, and we're sorry for anything less than consistent and friendly service,' it responded to one of her posts.

(NewsNation) — Employees of multiple Target warehouses in upstate New York have filed a lawsuit against the company, saying they should be paid for the time walking to and from their workstations.

The complaint alleges violations of New York labor laws and was filed Aug. 26 in U.S. District Court in Albany, according to local paper Times Union. The law firm representing the employees estimate that thousands of workers could be due thousands of dollars in back pay for each year they were employed at the two warehouses dating back to 2019.

The two sites, located in in the towns of Wilton and Florida employ a combined 2,000 people. The Wilton warehouse has 1.5 million square feet of space, and the Florida warehouse, located just outside the city of Amsterdam, is 1.8 million square feet.

“Hourly employees of the warehouses are required to walk long distances — up to approximately half a mile — to and from their assigned departments, where they are required to clock in at the start of each shift and clock out at the end of each shift,” the lawsuit states.

Jeanna Kratzert, a former employee at the Wilton warehouse, and Neil Mosher, who works there now, filed the lawsuit. Kratzert told local news outlet WNYT that when working there, it took her up to 10 minutes to walk to her assigned places to clock in or out. The lawsuit alleges an employee not paid for that time can miss out on up to $2,000 per year.

NewsNation has reached out to Target for comment.

I wouldn't be able to ID it by the rear axle unless it was a car I own, since I'm not that into newer cars, but a new thought occurred to me after looking at that again. How long will it be before we hear of an officer killed when the grappled driver does that and a piece of the car strikes the officer through the windshield? I wonder if they've consider that possibility...

rear beam axle

So cheap to be still using these in passenger cars (esp. front drive), substandard ride quality.

I'm betting on a GMC product (General Motors China ;)). I saw a higher resolution version of that still of the rear axle, could swear I saw a bowtie on the center cap. I don't know newer cars much though...nor do I want to... 🤣

I think the cheap "domestic" producers are the only ones doing that. I can't think of the last time a Honda or Toyota used that setup.

fairly recent examples that come to mind are yaris, mazda 3 and golf. I thinker modern takes on the concept can work well. Simple, light weight and in some cases the axle can act as a sway bar.

I get where you're coming from, but I've always been of the mindset that four independent wheels should be treated independently when possible. I do realize it generally costs more to do so.
