New Tool Day

550 lb ft!

Yep, specifically meant to pair with this 1/2” set so I can leave the big impact on the wall.

Rearranged a few things in the U.S. General tool box so I could put my ratchets with the sockets and extensions. The 3D printed ratchet holders are from SJW Organizers. I initially ordered one of each size to see if I liked them. Ordered the rest a couple weeks ago. The lettering doesn’t come painted, I did that myself. The ratchets are Teckton, Icon and an old Craftsman. I had some older round head Craftsman 3/8” and 1/4” that didn’t fit right. You could have a 1/2” one made with 3/8 size printed on it I guess.

Also, tried something just for fun. I got one if those multi-flexing 3/8” drive Pittsburg ratchets and an 18 inch long 3/8” drive ratcheting Pittsburg breaker bar. They looked close enough by eyeballing it that I could make a long handle flex head ratchet out of it. Turns out it works. The ball and spring of the breaker bar are a smaller diameter but work well with the flex head ratchet. The screws are the same size but the one for the ratchet was beveled and the breaker bar was flat. I basically just moved the ratchet head over to the breaker bar. I got the ratchet when they had it on sale for $12 and the breaker bar for $16 after a 20% off coupon.

I also ended up with a weird little 3/8” drive ratcheting breaker bar. 😄

Thank you - bookmarked SJW for some ideas and maybe future product purchases (if I don't want to design and print on of their solutions myself).

The price adds up, but I’m happy with them. Think I might order a couple more things in the future.

I got the pry bar holder too, but no pic.
