New Tool Day

I ended up getting some more of those SJW Organizers for my breaker bars, some extensions, pry bars and all my ratchets.

I also ordered a 27 inch gray top box a couple weeks ago when they had them on sale. My store, or any of them near me, didn’t have them in stock though so they had to order it. It should be here early July, if I remember correctly.

27 inch?? It's going to get lost on top of the 72 inch box...

Yeah, but I’ll still have most of the top to work on, which I’ve found I do a lot since getting it, but give me just a little more storage for a few things I want to move out of my old box.

Ordered this off Amazon, we will see how it holds up. Exhaust pipe expansion set, need to put some pipe and a muffler on the JK.

Hopefully it will expand the new pipe to slide over the original.

I needed one of those a while back for one of my cars. Curious to know how well it works.

I think i have that same one.

You will need an impact with a lot of ft/lbs of torque (nevermind since your finished 😄 ). And it took 4-6 uses to ruin the threads even with it well lubed.

It was 3" exhaust and luckily it lasted long enough to complete my project. It wouldn't have done one more piece.

I put the clamps on with my Dewalt 1/4" impact, my 1/2" Dewalt would have probably crushed the pipe

They are tight for sure!

Exhaust hanger tool.

Saved in my Amazon cart already for when I install the exhaust NIB in my basement... Having done the hanger shuffle with any other tool - I'm ready to pay for a new member addition to my tool 'cart'el...

I usually kroil the hanger just to make it that much easier. Not sure if that’s common or not.

This is off the topic , but does the smell of Kroil remind you of something else ? It reminds me of something , but I can't put my finger on what.
Sorry to have a minor derail .... Carry on !

I’d have to go smell it again to see. Worked on my jeep today and everything was thoroughly coated in PSC steering swepco so I didn’t need any.

Reminds me of working at a brewery in high school doing maintenance. Good stuff for corroded parts.

Btw,if you have man hands you can just spit on it and shove it in. Getting it back out later is tough though!
