My front drivers side tire is showing in my opinion strange wear patterns. Multiple ridges are forming at a diagonal angle to surface of the tread. In the below images I captured two of these “ridges”. There are more around the tire. Any idea what forms these?

Alignment was just done. I didn't even think about tire age, I was just checking tread which looked good. Tires were made in 2018 is this considered old in your opinion? Everywhere I looked up says yes, looks like I will be getting new tires.

Diagonal wear is caused by thrust angle and bad bearings.

thrust angle is mostly found on trailing tires such as rear tires or trailer tires from a bent component.

We've had the same Cooper AT3's on the wifes 4runner for 5 years and some 40K miles and are wearing normally. After the move across the US the tires became worn weirdly like yours and make lots of oscillating road noise. They are about 2/3's worn I now, Go figure. Hate to buy new tires just cause some noise.
