Is my multi-function switch bad?

Another one I've not seen before: raining today, so I had the lights on. The odometer started blinking from bright to dim and back. Sometimes the dome light would come on. When it went off, it wouldn't turn on with the switch.
I'm thinking bad MFS. Thoughts? Recommendations?

What about dash lights? Isn’t the dome and dash light brightness controlled with the headlight switch?

I had the lights on because of the rain, but it was too light to see the dash lights.

Turn the knob back and forth afew times see if it clears up.

I did. It didn't.
