Installed the grill lights using a 3.5" carbide hole saw. Easy to do a clean wiring job. I'm pleased with the results. If I end up not liking it, I do have a couple spare grills. So far I like.
I also installed a new windshield header gasket whilst I was going about my TJ chores. No test drive for wind noise but presumably it should be improved. This old sled is shaping up nicely.
What was once a groaning rattle trap with everything out of wack, worn, broken or missing, is now replaced, repaired, swapped, upgraded, adjusted, painted, lubed, insulated, rewired etc.
I just got another amplifier which I will install when the new cables and wires come. Getting pure copper wires. Going to rip out the stereo and rewire all speakers and it will have 2 four channel amps and 1 two channel amp, eight speakers and one sub.
I'll rerun the GMRS radio antenna wire while I am pulling cables and get it in the rear and up high. Probably will put some LED spot lights in the rear as well.
