Dana 35's break on the street and trying to run anything over a 33" tire is just asking for it to break. If you want 35" tires then you should do it right. It'll cost you a lot more in the long run not to.

We aren't trying to dump on you but everyone here has had enough experience with these rigs to try and offer some advice and help.
Not good IMO. Here was mine on mine on 33" tires & a 4" lift.

Has anyone had any luck with qudratec rustbuster frame section patches? Dug into the frame today to find out wasn't as solid as I thought it was

That looks bad.
I wouldn't waste my time with that frame...but here in the PNW they're plentiful and reasonably cheap.
