Generic Warn Remote

Need a replacement remote for my 9.5ti
Warn says P/N 83658 (6 pin) but I need it by tomorrow. Any suggestions for an Amazon generic replacement, think @macleanflood you’ve got some?

I was wheeling with a guy last weekend and he was using one of these HF remotes on his Warn winch. The reviews seem to indicate it works with Warn as well.

I wired these in after Warn fucked me on warranty support.

I also bought 1" x 3" stick on magnets and tied Paracord lanyards for the remotes.

They take A23 12v batteries which last a while. We got eight months out of a set using almost weekly. They operate down to 9.5v.

You do need to have or wire in an on switch. I use the dash control on switch, then use that remote.

I have four sets of them now...my 9.5, and a bunch of HF. They work great.

picked one up, didn’t work on mine. However, a 1/8th drill bit was the perfect size to clean up some corrosion on the pin sockets and I’m back in business.

Get some electrical contact cleaner, and the a set of small round brass or steel bristle bore brushes, and dielectric grease.

That's the best way to keep them clean
