Found a remote start under dash, concerns trying to remove it?

So I was digging around and pulled a dash panel I hadn't before and found this remote start thing installed:

I want to remove it, but with the plethora of wires coming off of it and no idea how it works, is there anything I should be worried about... does it tap in in a way that would disable the vehicle if I pull the wrong thing?

It was attached wire by wire, so disconnect wire by wire.
Tape any exposed wire.

Then replacement remotes were on the Amazon link too. I actually put remote star on mine
