A year ago I installed a banks monster exhaust. Sounds alright, but I'm looking for some real sound. I took that muffler out and welded a diy downpipe and installed it on the back of my cat. Sounds beautiful. I love the sound and don't mind the drone.
Only problem is, I'm getting a check engine light, p0133 code.
After asking AI it says that the code is from the ecu flipping out because there is no muffler. I would like to get rid of the code. My options are figure out someway to bypass that code. Or install a muffler that sounds damn near muffler delete level. I like the sound of a flowmaster super 44. but its kinda expensive.
Started looking at a thrush welded muffler, but I heard someone say that it was just as quiet as stock. Any suggestions on what to do?
