we're a nation of fat fucks that want to take our living room couch & entertainment center with multiple screens & surround sound plus a bunch of other happy horseshit with us on the road, can't cram all that into a Datsun.

Oh, and enough giant cup holders to hold 'biggie' drinks for you, the missus & the entire heard of up & coming fat fucks

These are very handy when we drive to Moab, 17 hours straight through other than a couple fuel ups and bathroom breaks.

I don't need them in my daily commuter.

Performance for the price. Tesla is considerably cheaper, better charging network, better tech, 4 doors gives the car better utility because neither is fast enough to be used for anything else.

How much battery is drained in each 1/4-mile race?​

According to Drag Times, Model S Plaid loses only 2% of battery after every quarter-mile drag race. While the 1,020 hp Model S Plaid can ideally run 50 quarter-mile races if charged to 100% before the first race.

Drag Times ran their Tesla Model S Plaid for 40 quarter-mile drag races to reach a 20% state of charge (SoC).

41st run at 20% SoC​

Tesla Model S Plaid completed the 41st quarter-mile run in just 9.96 seconds@136.40 mph. Launching even at a low 20% SoC, the Plaid performance can still embarrass many ICE sports and modified cars at the dragstrip.

Getting 40 runs in a day is a dream. You'd have to rent out the track. 4 runs is more realistic.
