Door won't lock

OK SO strange one here.

door lock functions but the door never locks. whats broke? for the last two weeks i had to lock than open door than close and it locked. now nothing locks it. i see a bunch of little parts on quadratec but cnt find a diagram of the rods in the door to figure out what to buy

Probably just have a rod loose, or it needs lubed up or the door isn't adjusted correctly causing a bind or misalignment.

It's hard to give you details of what's wrong over the interwebs

Someone has to look inside that door and see what's not right. If that person isn't sure at that point they should look inside the door with a working lock and make a comparison.

passenger door wont even open. its stuck shut. something severe is broken inside. its only me so ive never bothered to fix it LOL. that will teach me

i think thats exactly what i need. i ordered some on quadratec. gonna take it apart at 5 and try a simple fix until they show up. hose with hose clamp LOL.

Opened it up last night, nothing broken. cleaned all the old grease out. NOTHING broken but it still doesnt want to lock. i have a feeling the arm for the lock is bent so i think i will jsut order all new door components.

funny you ask that. i found a broken door hinge on the drivers side. they are on order now.


now that im looking at it again...the bar that runs from the lock to the mechanism that opens the door...is it supposed to be straight or bent slightly?

ok so looks like its supposed to be bent a bit. i think i need to replace it all.
