Good afternoon all,
I’m looking to do a disc brake conversion on my 02 TJ with the Dana 44 rear. Yes I understand that I won’t gain any braking power but I offroad my Jeep quite a bit and get in a lot of wet situations which drum brakes lack in which is why I’m making the switch. From reading previous forums I’m understanding that @mrblaine used to make a kit but it’s no longer on the website so I’m wondering what years of ZJ you can take parts off of? Also can you use the parts from a 35 for a 44? Thanks!

We never "made" the kit, we used the Stoptech loaded backing plates and added the rest of the parts. Any ZJ with discs will work. Be aware that there are 2 different parking brake shoes so make sure to take the old ones with to the parts store to match up to top part where it rests against the anchor block. All TJ housing end bolt patterns are interchangeable with the ZJ and Chrysler 8.25.

Thanks for the input! Would you happen to have a list of all the parts I would need?

Backing plates, lines, e brake cable and caliper, anything else?
Parking brake shoes
Parking brake hardware kit
Longer housing end studs + appropriate nuts
Longer wheel studs for the axles
Flex hoses and brackets to mount them
Tube nuts for the hard line into flex hose
banjo bolts
crush washers
brake pads for the calipers
caliper mounting bolts
Disc brake retainers for the axle shafts if going onto a Dana 44.
Set 10 shaft collars, seals, with bearings and races if swapping onto a Dana 44
Rotors
