Ill get my upper control arms replaced, and check for the play on the wheels thank you
Front upper control arms are a little different from the other 6. You only get one bushing on each new arm. The bushings in the axle must be pressed out, and in.

Is there any real gain to upgrading to of of these kind of control arms?
Damn, ill let the shop deal with that one
You can do them without a press fwiw
Is there any brand that you recommend? I think im just going to start replacing all ball joints and bushings
I just installed the exact same lift to my 2003 TJ Rubicon, new tires, and a very good alignment job and it cured my death wobble completely. One thing I had to do different was there was a little slop in my connection where the track bar joins to the axle. I think the hole in the axle bracket got wallowed out slightly over the years and it just wasn't tight enough for me when I installed the track bar. I went with the next size up bolt and it fit snugly. In fact, it was a little troublesome to get through but it eventually made it.
All that said, I really think it was my tires that were the prime instigator in my DW. Looks like you might be due for tires too.
I used a loaner ball joint press. Is there an easier way?
I did it with a hammer![]()

Damn man look at all that tred. I have maybe 2 mm left.
I couldn't get a good swing with my sledgehammer in those tighter places.![]()
They are I've done twice
It doesn't mean the rims run true and the tires aren't out of round. Balance is only one part of three things that make a tire build up energy that can be transmitted through loose suspension parts as "death wobble"
True.I used to get my wheels/tires Road Force balanced when my brother paid for it. He's anal about everything being perfect and won't settle for "good enough". They point out any defects when doing it. I have one bad, brand new wheel.
