On my 05 the cruise control is now showing some weirdness that I am struggling to diagnose/fix.

Cruise control will stay at set speed as expected without issue for as long I don't interrupt it. All the buttons on the steering wheel work. I can turn the CC on, I can set a speed. I can increase or decrease speed as designed. Everything works without issue. That is until I interrupt the cruise by hitting the brake, clutch or cancel button. From that moment on I can no longer turn on cruise again. Not the on/off button or resume button works.

But after i turn off the ignition and turn on the ignition again everything works again.

Has anyone else come across this? Anyone have any tips on how to diagnose and fix?

Yes, I have seen the cruise control not function due a bad pcm. @Noxid You can send it into us to confirm 100% it is pcm related. Are you having any hard 1-2 shifts when cold?

Howdy. Thanks for the assist.

Hard shifting is not something that I think I am experiencing. Is "hard shifting" a thing for manual transmissions? The first shift into 2nd from being parked for a week or more is arguably a tad bit noisy/harder but its been like that since I bought it. I just stay in the clutch longer and shift more deliberately coming out of 1st heading into 2nd. I'm also being super nit picky by that statement. I would have never described it as a hard shift, its just a different shift from every other selection. (hope this makes sense).

My experience as well.
