Castrol Oil

Probably a silly question but all the 10W30 Castrol oil I’m looking at says it’s for motorcycles. Can I use this on my 2006 TJ?

If it's a 4-stroke oil and also has the API SL,SN or SP rating then yes, it should be fine.

I was running a synthetic 15w-40 diesel oil that also had the SN rating in my 4.0L XJ.

Have you no other brands you can buy? Castrol is fine but there are numerous 10/30's you can use. Id also guess the Castrol oil for bikes is $10+ a quart or whatever it is in Pounds.
