cb4017 Member Supporting Member Joined Jan 23, 2025 Messages 95 Location Northern NV Feb 4, 2025 #2 If it's a 4-stroke oil and also has the API SL,SN or SP rating then yes, it should be fine. I was running a synthetic 15w-40 diesel oil that also had the SN rating in my 4.0L XJ.
