Can someone tell me what this vSeeBox / Superbox hype is all about?

DVD player and a shit ton of DVDs is cheaper than that $300 box... Just sayin'

Probably true. The only thing we ever watch is movies and certain YouTube channels.

Occasionally there's a good show or series worth watching but that's rare these days.

You don’t use any of the other apps. There are two main apps on the box: one is for live tv and the other is for on-demand tv and movies. The live tv app has access to any broadcast, cable or satellite channel, so you get to watch all programming airing in real time, includingPPV. The on-demand app has access to all movies and tv series so you can watch anything you want whenever you want. The box is irrelevant, as it’s just a streaming device. What you are paying for are those two apps, which come pre-loaded on the box.

I'm not interested in it for television. I'm interested in it for all the older movies we like to watch.

The seriously, dude, if you have not checked out Bitchute, do it NOW! I'll DM you some links to some of the channels that have old movies. Everything from B-moive scifi to classic westerns to film noir to suspense to drama to comedy. And there is an icon on the bottom right hand corner of the video that lets you download the video locally. You click that icon and it opens the MP3 file in another window, right click and download to your local device.

This way, you have them stored locally and don't need to worry about bandwidth.

Check your DMs.

There is more. Be careful, you can spend a lot of time just digging around. In this list you'll find scifi, westerns, film noir, drama, suspence, war, everything. There are even a lot of old TV series.

You must have one of those HUGE TV sets. Our 30 something looks the same between DVDs and Blu-Rays.

I just went to the store and bought what I could get quickly when my 65" plasma unexpectedly failed. It's only 83", I've been considering replacing it.

I buy the 4k's for the Dolby Atmos sound track the improved picture is a bonus.

Yes, everyone should.

I don't watch movies, it is very rare for a video game to be made in even 5.1. They are mainly mixed for headphones and TV speakers, I'm playing a game now and I'm surprised my sub is even used properly. Normally you only pick up those low frequencies in VA.

Yea - if you have one that big, I can totally see it. My daughter has one of those HUGE ones also - dunno what size it is, but I could probably park my Jeep on it and have room to add a bicycle or two and not reach the bezel!
