Can I Cut Side Marker Harness?

Hi all. Doing the JK turn signal mod for future flat fenders, and wondering if I can cut the side marker harnesses out to clean things up without causing any electrical issues. I'd leave a couple inches of the wiring in case I choose to add side markers again in the future, I can splice back into it. Thanks.

Thanks. Thought I replied to your previous comment, must have not posted it. No side markers for now, after I get fenders installed I'll see how the side visibility of my front markers is, and of I can find a side marker I like.
