Brandon's Arles Blue TJ

The two times iv had tires get cut on a trail was with beadlocks. Before no problems and two years without them no problems. Are they really necessary? 🤷‍♂️. Those look good though and nice to have.

Maybe the tire tend to spin on the rim before slashing the sidewall, protecting them some. I wonder how widespread your observation reaches.

Ah, who needs seats!? Get tough and drive seatless!

Luckily I haven't pulled my stock seats yet. But they don't do any good with the Jeep on stands anyway. O-rings should be here Monday and I can get it back on it's wheels. And see how long the tires take to mount! I'll time it to see.

I wish I could get mine back in its wheels! Gonna be awhile. Got a bandsaw and mounting table. Want to get that set up today. Need to order some BJDeletes and the rear caliper flip kit. Just $$$

Luckily once the wheels are on it's drivable. Everything else is really just day/weekend projects for now. Also hoping to get a welder by spring and start practicing. I did some basics my senior year of high school. Need to get a welder and get better with some projects that I'd like to do in the future (small and pretty big).

Anything’s possible. I didn’t pay to much attention. I think one got sliced on a piece of trail trash that was metal.

Had to go to three different stores to find silicone grease for the o-rings. With where I was at, I tried Tractor Supply and Wal-Mart with no luck. Finally ended up at Napa and found a $16, 4oz tube! Have to work late tonight but hope to get started on the wheels tomorrow. If nothing else, they'll get done Friday.

Bummer, seats aren't expected for almost another month according to PRP. It was supposed to be 6 weeks or less and now it's looking like almost 10.

Oh and I got another delay email on my corner armor. The hits just keep coming!

Oh well, first world problems.

First one is done! @JMT 23 minutes for the first one which included gathering tools, soap water, setting up the compressor, airing up, gauging, and checking for leaks. All that's left to do is put the beauty caps on the bolts and mount it up. Oh, and repeat the process four more times!

Might actually be worth it to sell my Raceline’s and get a set. That is fast.
